When Joanne and I moved into this house in June, 2005, we had a cat, Kluzeau, which we had adopted the previous summer. Sadly, Kluzeau passed away in August 2005, the victim of the neighbouring lot’s abandoned in-ground pool. However, as months passed, so did our grief and in February 2007, we adopted Krystalle, followed by Midnight, two months later. Needless to say, after over four years,they are definitely part of the family and have made their place in our household. In recognition of these two lovely beasts, I’m pleased to present, in no particular order,
The Top Ten Great Things About Our Cats
They show us where we keep the cat food every day;
They let us know when it’s time to feed them, whether it is or not;
If we want to sit down somewhere, they invariably choose that spot before we get there;
They make us feel useful by using us as furniture;
They only chew on plants and subsequently vomit occasionally;
They only break things like vases or steal small objects once in a while;
They wake us gently by shoving their hairy faces in ours or by pouncing on us;
They store their toys, especially balls, conveniently towards the top of the stairs and other high-traffic areas or in our shoes;
They open the linen closet and sliding closet doors, simply because they can;
And finally,
They are ADORABLE and offer us their unconditional love.
